話題分析
這是一道經(jīng)歷類的題目，是2022年1-4月的保留題，雖然問的是“特殊的事情”，但是“特殊”這個定義還是比較主觀的，即使是一件看似比較平常的事情，對自己有特殊意義也是可以的。
那等待的特殊事情，一種就是未來發(fā)生的事情，比如等待一個offer，等待朋友或親人相聚。另一種等待，也可以是相對短期的，比如排隊等待偶像的簽名、等待核算檢測的結(jié)果。還有其他意義上的“等待”，比如朋友故意讓你等待，其實是為了給你一個驚喜。
在選擇故事上，要綜合上面講到的“特殊”和“等待”兩點(diǎn)。
另外，這道題中，不管等待的結(jié)果有沒有出現(xiàn)，都可以納入討論范圍，但是如果要聊還沒出結(jié)果的事情的話，需要注意一下時態(tài)哦！
第一小問“What you waited for” 你在等待什么事情
第一小問中可以先用幾句話概括自己等待的事情是什么，具體選題可以參考上面的主題，那關(guān)于事情的描述，還是可以從時間、人物、事由幾個方面去展開。
第二小問“When you waited”你是什么時候等待的
此處可以展開描寫時間，如果是長期的等待，可以說一下從什么時候開始等待，等待了多久，在等待這期間你做了什么相關(guān)的事情（比如等待offer的話，每天都會刷新一下郵箱，打聽其他同學(xué)或朋友有沒有收到offer等）；另外如果是短期的等待，還可以描述一下等待時的場景（比如是在隊伍當(dāng)中等待還是在什么地方等待）
第三小問“Why it was special”為什么這件事是特殊的
要解釋這件事對于你的特殊意義，一種情況是這個等待比較少見，或者說比較稀有，另一種情況是等待的事情對你來說很重要，決定了未來的走向，還有就是等待的這件事是一種情感的表達(dá)。
第四小問“explain how you felt while you were waiting” 你等待的時候是什么心情
首先可以分一個心情大類，比如期待的心情（等待愉快的事情），焦慮忐忑的心情（等待可能不好的結(jié)果），疑惑的心態(tài)（比如原本約好了，但是沒有等到人），害怕的心情（等待自己不敢承受的事情）除了總體的心情之外，可以再聊一下自己的心態(tài)變化，從前期，到等待中期，到知道結(jié)果后的心情。

Waiting for someone is an everyday situation in our daily lives. There was a time when i had to wait for my friends. It was very special. It was my birthday and i had invited a group of friends to a bar to celebrate, we had an appointment there at 8 pm. I was so worried i got there too early, certainly none of them were there. However, i waited for half an hour but no one showed up and then i started feeling uncomfortable and worried. Gradually i lost my patience and started calling each of them, asking why they hadn’t turned up yet. None of them picked up the phone and they all stood me up . I was really pissed off ?as you can imagine because it was my birthday and my friends treated me that way. I waited a few minutes before i couldn’t take it anymore and decided to leave. As soon as i called the waiter to pay the bill, i heard the song “happy birthday” in the bar. Suddenly all my friends appeared out of nowhere with a birthday cake, and they hugged me and wished me a happy birthday. ?It was a surprise and my anger quickly gave way to laughter and we spent an unforgettable night chatting until midnight, drinking beers and of course eating the cake.
