花樣滑冰可以追溯到18世紀(jì)的英國，隨后逐漸風(fēng)靡到美國、加拿大和德國等地。19世紀(jì)60年代，美國芭蕾舞表演藝術(shù)家杰克遜·海因斯結(jié)合舞蹈與滑冰，開創(chuàng)了腳尖旋轉(zhuǎn)等頗具美感的動(dòng)作，他也被譽(yù)為“現(xiàn)代花滑之父”。1924年，花樣滑冰成為冬奧會(huì)項(xiàng)目。
Back in the 18th century in the UK, the sport became popular among the aristocracy. They liked to take to frozen ponds and lakes on rough hand-forged blades to have fun. Gradually, more skating enthusiasts from Germany, the United States and Canada followed suit. In 1860s, Jackson Haines, a US ballet dancer and skater, used more artistic moves like pirouettes, dances and dramatic jumps to make the sport less formal, which won him the title of “the father of modern figure skating”. As more and more people enjoyed gliding on the glassy surface, the sport became an official Winter Olympic sport in 1924.

2021年12月26日，在日本埼玉舉行的全日花樣滑冰錦標(biāo)賽男子單人滑比賽中，羽生結(jié)弦奪冠并獲得北京冬奧會(huì)男子單人滑資格。
短道速滑
Short track speed skating
冬奧會(huì)的三個(gè)滑冰項(xiàng)目包括短道速滑、速度滑冰和花樣滑冰。其中短道速滑越來越受到觀眾的喜愛。短道速滑起源于速度滑冰，于1992年成為冬奧會(huì)正式項(xiàng)目。短道速滑項(xiàng)目競爭激烈，碰撞時(shí)有發(fā)生，這也是一項(xiàng)結(jié)合了戰(zhàn)術(shù)、勇氣與技術(shù)的高強(qiáng)度項(xiàng)目。
As one of the three skating disciplines at the Winter Olympics alongside figure skating and speed skating, short track speed skating (or short track) has gained more popularity in recent years. In fact, short track originated from speed skating in Canada and the United States. It goes back to 1905, when speed skating events were first held, with groups of skaters racing around an oval track. Gradually, people found that such racing came with new challenges like tighter turns, so the athletes had to come up with different strategies to win. The short track sport came to prominence in the 1960s and made its debut at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France. Short track races are full of strategy, bravery, skill and high-intensity excitement.

2018年的平昌冬奧會(huì)上，短道速滑選手武大靖為中國體育代表團(tuán)拿下唯一一枚金牌。4年后，武大靖將再度征戰(zhàn)北京冬奧會(huì)短道速滑賽場。目前他也是這個(gè)項(xiàng)目男子500米的世界紀(jì)錄保持者。

Freestyle skiing
自由式滑雪誕生于20世紀(jì)初，并于上世紀(jì)60年代開始流行。對于冬奧會(huì)而言，自由式滑雪仍然是個(gè)“新人”— 1992年才成為正式比賽項(xiàng)目。雖然看起來僅僅是在“雪上翻跟頭”，但自由式滑雪是果敢、速度與特技的組合。運(yùn)動(dòng)員在空中旋轉(zhuǎn)翻騰，視覺效果拔群！ At the beginning of the 20th century in Norway, Italy and Austria, some people performed somersaults on skis. 自2020年在冬青奧會(huì)上大放異彩以來，目前年僅18歲的自由式滑雪新秀谷愛凌一直延續(xù)著強(qiáng)勢表現(xiàn)，在去年年初的世界極限運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)和自由式滑雪世錦賽上斬獲了多枚金牌。本賽季她雖然因傷錯(cuò)過了在奧地利的首站比賽，但傷愈回歸之后馬上在自由式滑雪大跳臺世界杯美國斯廷博特站、U型場地世界杯卡爾加里站等比賽中連戰(zhàn)連捷。 Gu Ailing is a talented freeskier and one of the top medal hopefuls in Beijing 2022. 如果說，上述介紹的冰雪項(xiàng)目，都有一種“速度與激情”，那么冰壺則給人 “以柔克剛”、“四兩撥千斤”的感覺。冰壺又稱擲冰壺、冰上溜石，起源于蘇格蘭，1998年日本長野冬奧會(huì)被列為正式比賽項(xiàng)目。冰壺比賽看似溫文儒雅，實(shí)則斗智斗勇。占位，進(jìn)營，擊打，掃冰，展現(xiàn)的是靜動(dòng)之美和取與舍的智慧，“冰上國際象棋”之稱也由此而來。
2021年4月6日 “相約北京”冰上項(xiàng)目測試活動(dòng)冰壺比賽。
北京冬奧會(huì)上，21歲的韓雨將領(lǐng)銜冰壺女隊(duì)參賽。與其他早早加入職業(yè)隊(duì)的選手不同，進(jìn)入國家隊(duì)之前韓雨只是名高中生。然而，這位00后卻出手不凡：2016年，她作為國青隊(duì)中惟一一名非專業(yè)運(yùn)動(dòng)員參加在挪威舉行的第二屆世界青年冬奧會(huì)，還在混雙比賽中獲得了一枚寶貴的銀牌。
從12歲第一次接觸冰壺，到21歲走上世錦賽的舞臺，韓雨已從冰壺愛好者成長為中國冰壺國家隊(duì)隊(duì)長?！拔易畲蟮哪繕?biāo)就是參加北京2022年冬奧會(huì)，希望能身披國家隊(duì)?wèi)?zhàn)袍，在家門口為國爭光?！表n雨說。
Unlike many players who are trained in sports schools or professional teams, Han Yu was a common high school student before joining China’s national curling team. When Han took part in international curling matches for the first time in 2016, she was still an amateur. However, she has an important quality that the sport requires – calmness, as Han’s coach Zhou Mingxin commented. Known as “chess on ice”, curling requires strategy and patience to win. That’s why Han was chosen as the captain of the women’s national team in 2019 at the age of 19! That year she led the team to victory in the Pacific-Asia Championships. Now with two more years of experience, Han is more confident about the upcoming Winter Olympics.
